MOTORCYCLE MAKER VENTURES INTO PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT

Moving from motorcycle-manufacturing, the Norkis Group of Companies is venturing into property development, putting up a 2.8 hectare cyberpark in Mandaue City, Cebu.
Spending P6 billion for its development, to be called the Norkis Cyberpark, the property will have  five business process outsourcing (BPO)-ready buildings to cater to the growing offshore and outsourcing industry in the province.
“The Norkis Cyberpark project will help push development in the Mandaue City area as well as increase overall economic activity. At its completion, Norkis Cyberpark will help generate 38,000 jobs. Together with the PEZA incentives for locators and a readily available workforce pool, we foresee a lot of locators, both international and local, making Norkis Cyberpark their new home in the region,” said Dr. Norberto B.
